He will be sending Jake Arrieta to the mound to make the start for the Cubs Arrieta has had a great deal of success in his career against the Cardinals with 14 career starts, Arrieta is 8-2 with a 1.71 ERA against the Cardinals. It's the lowest ERA for any pitcher in history who has made at least 10 starts against St. Louis. Adam Wainwright is nothing like the pitcher he used to be. Wainwright is 2-3 on the season with a 6.37 ERA and has allowed 53 hits in just 35 1/3 innings while also issuing 13 walks. It's likely Kris Bryant will be able to play for the Cubs after missing the first two games of the series because of a stomach illness. Take the CUBS here on Sunday.
