Angels Garrett Richards is coming off a one-hit, six-inning performance vs. Houston in which he went toe to toe with Justin Verlander in getting a no-decision. He has not allowed more than two earned runs in a start since returning Sept. 5. White Sox Starter Lopez right-hander has been fairly effective over his past four starts, posting a 3.55 ERA in 25 1/3 innings. But Lopez's strikeouts are down, partially due to hitters swinging earlier in the count against him.
