The Los Angeles Dodgers have won six of eight as they get set to open a three-game road series in Philadelphia against the 55-43 Phillies. The Dodgers are 12-5 in July and look to get another win behind Stripling. Stripling beat Eflin and the Phillies back on May 30th, going seven innings and striking out nine while allowing one run (he is 1-0 with a 3.77 ERA in four career appearances against the Phillies). Stripling has won eight of his nine decisions since moving from the bullpen to the rotation in early May and owns a 2.01 ERA in 14 starts this season while notching 89 strikeouts in 76 innings in those contests.
