Moved into the rotation in June, Felix Pena has completed seven innings in consecutive starts for the first time in his MLB career. He's also thrown at least six innings in his last five starts dating back to Aug. 15, owning a 2.81 ERA in that span. He is very good stuff and only getting better as he goes.

Rangers starter Gallardo allowed five runs in 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the A's Friday and is 1-3 with a 6.45 ERA in his past five starts. He is 0-1 with a 5.14 ERA in at this stadium and I expect the Angels to hit him tonight.
