The plodding backs of Baltimore are going to be far too tough for Pittsburgh to stop, and collectively Baltimore just has a better football team, with their running game and great starting field ability. Baltimore has some surprisingly good team chemistry, plays some really tough defense and will move the ball with Joe Flacco and his connections with Michael Crabtree and John Brown. The Ravens are only getting better each week. The lack of ability to stop the pass remains a problem and serious issue for Pittsburgh and if they hope to deliver on their playoff potential they need to quickly fix that issue. After last weeks lucky squeaker, as they barely held on vs the Bucs - it doesn't all of a sudden make Pittsburgh a great matchup vs the Ravens. Pittsburgh needs to feed RB James Conner and make sure they run the ball effectively - but Baltimore DC Don Martindale will keep switching up the defensive looks, and keep Pittsburgh guessing what they are looking at on the field. James Conner is a talented young player - but he has less capability to explode, with what will be just his 3rd NFL start at RB. Steelers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games and Baltimore always plays them tough and the Ravens offense is much improved this year.
