In what should have been a battle between a couple of unbeaten teams the Irish are going to be taking on the Hokies. However, the Irish are able to come into this game as the one unbeaten, but the Hokies are a team that did drop a game in the final few minutes to an Old Dominion squad that did not have much in the way of an offense before or after playing the Hokies.

The offense for the Irish is fairly balanced on the season as they have managed to throw the ball for a total of 241 yards a game. The rushing attack for the Irish has been able to get a total of 202.2 yards a game. This has translated to the Irish getting a total of 32.8 points per game on the season so far.










Defensively the Hokies are playing some good ball, but the defense is not nearly as strong as the Irish as the Hokies defense is giving up 20.8 points a game. The opponents are passing for a total of 304 yards a game on the season, but the Hokies rushing defense is giving up a total of 84 yards a game.






The Fighting Irish have a great defense and should be the difference maker in this one and the Irish defense has been able to shut down most of the opponents passing attacks on the season. What is going to be even worse for the Hokies is they will not be able to counter with any type of a running attack.
