Result: Loss
The Steelers and the Bengals are going to have a good match here, but the Bengals are at home and with the record that Marvin Lewis has against the Steelers at home it could be easier for people to think the Steelers will run away with this game. However, the Bengals defense is playing great and the offense is finally clicking. The defense for the Steelers is giving up 26.6 points a game. The defense has been giving up 296 yards a game in the air with 13 touchdowns allowed. The Steelers have managed to allow 19 sacks and have picked the opponent off 4 times. Andy Dalton is leading the Bengals offense as he has thrown the ball for 1445 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year. The rushing attack will be missing Bernard in this game, but is led by Joe Mixon who has 60 carries for 272 yards and a score. Dalton to Green is still the connection this year with Green getting 26 receptions for 409 yards and 5 touchdowns. The offense for the Bengals has been able to get 272 yards a game passing with 95 yards a game rushing while the team is getting 30.6 points a game. The Steelers have to figure out how to protect Big Ben and he is not getting any younger and has been seen limping quite a bit this year. The Bengals pass rush has been getting better each week and that is going to make a difference this year as when Big Ben is rushed he makes mistakes and throws picks. Look for the Bengals offense to take advantage of these mistakes as the Bengals bring home a win by a FG.
