Carolina won't be looking past its opponent today as it's lost eight of its last ten. The BlackHawks have lost five in a row, but the Hurricanes enjoy five whole days off after this, so I'm expecting the home side to lay everything on the line tonight. There's no rest for the wicked as far as Chicago is concerned though, with a night off before a tough divisional game at home against an equally as hungry Blues team.

Carolina is 7-2 in its last nine non-conference home games as a home favorite and we'll back them in this spot on Monday night.
