When analyzing the actual game, I always like to start with the head coaching matchup. I’ll take Sean McVay over Darren Rizzi every time, even though Rizzi is 2-0 in his interim role with the Saints.

Then it’s onto the quarterbacking matchup, where the Rams also have an edge with Matt Stafford. Stafford also has a mostly-full arsenal of receivers at his disposal, unlike Derek Carr, who’s still missing WRs Chris Olave (IR – concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (IR – knee). This is also an extremely favorable matchup for Los Angeles’ dangerous passing attack on the road on the turf. Take the LA RAMS minus the short number.
