Either I and the rest of the baseball world are utterly wrong about the Padres or the Rockies are way better than we thought they were. It's the first. The Padres could be in the world series the Rockies won't be anywhere near it and are not that good. The two losses are an anomaly. The Padres are putting a guy on the mound who had just two outright losses last year as a starter with the mediocre Red Sox. The Padres get blessed and bounce back with a big win.
