C.J. Stroud and the Texans have been a great story this season. But an even more unlikely fairy tale is the emergence of Joe Flacco as a playoff quarterback and potential comeback player of the year candidate. According to ESPN, the Browns have the best statistical defense in the NFL, and DE Myles Garret is potentially the defensive player of the year. In the last five games since Joe Flacco became the starter, the Browns have averaged 323 yards per game through the air compared to around 200 BJF (before Joe Flacco). Meanwhile, the Texans averaged 245 yards per game passing and 96 rushing. The bad news for the Texans is that Brown's defense is very stingy against the pass, and the Texan's defense gives up a lot of yards through the air. I am not laying any points, but the Browns win this one.
