(NCAAF) Cougars (WST) vs. Huskies (WAS),
Total: 55.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
Historically, this game has been a final game of the season matchup, often played in bad weather conditions, which made for a great game and great rivalry. The First meeting was 124 years ago, in 1900. Because of the realignment with Washington State saying in a 2-team PAC 2 and The Huskies of Washington moving to the expanded BIG 10, the schedule had to be adjusted to move this game too early September, which has taken some of the shine off this apple. Both teams are 2 and 0, and neither has been really tested. The Huskies dropped Weber State 35 – 3 and beat EMU 30-9 last week with my pick of EMU plus 27.5 covering. The Cougars dusted Portland State 70-30 and then Texas Tech 37-16 last week. The biggest factor to me is the strength of the Husky's defense. It has not been a great competition, but two games have allowed zero touchdowns. And precisely 12 points. However, Washington Huskies stink on offense – against two very weak teams, they did not light up the scoreboard. I think the play here is under 55.5. The Huskies will limit the Cougs' scoring with a stout defense and will struggle to score because the offense isn’t excellent. Add that this is a rivalry game, and there will be many big hits. I love the under.
