Don't look now, but the Cavaliers' offense is starting to click. Thanks in large part to quarterback Kurt Benkert and his record-setting performance two weeks ago, the Cavaliers are licking their lips at getting to face a very bad Panthers defense on Saturday in what is the annual homecoming game. The Cavaliers have won back-to-back games after starting the year 0-3. They put up 49 on Central Michigan and 34 at Duke. Benkert has totalled 757 yards passing and eight touchdowns during that two-game winning streak. We expect that production to continue against this Panthers' defense that ranks 13th in the ACC in passing yards allowed. Pittsburgh gives up just over 400-yards of total offense per game and nine-yards per passing attempt. Georgia Tech, who is a run-first offense, just put up 34-points on them. The Panthers are 1-7 ATS in its last eight gameswhile the Cavaliers are 10-1 ATS in its last 11 games and 4-1 ATS in its last five home games. Take the team with the better defense and home field advantage.
