He has been amazing when he has been under center but this team hasn't been great without him. But he should be back here for this game, and the oddsmakers haven't adjusted the total accordingly. He put up more than 700 yards combined against Marshall and App. State, and his team was able to put up a lot of points as a result in those games. The Zips are dealing with a lot of defensive injuries right now and their defensive stats are overinflated recently due to some poor offensive opponents. Akron gave up a lot of points last week in a shutout loss to Western Michigan, but we think their offense bounces back here against a worse defense. Ball State likes to play at a fast pace and we think their offense will get the job done and we just don't see either defense doing much here on Saturday as we think this total is at least 5 points too low.
